Hi there!

I'm Jennie -- pronounced just like Jenny -- and I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a photographer based in Northern California, and I shoot photo sessions in Placer, Sacramento and Nevada counties. (Not located in Northern California? I’m open to traveling for a small fee.)

I received my first pocket camera at age nine (thanks, mom and dad!), and I've been snapping away ever since.

Many of my clients are families with children, and as a former elementary school teacher and mama to a 11-year-old boy and a 8-year-old girl, I feel right at home with the little ones.

I also love taking photographs of high school seniors! Collaborating with seniors (and their parents) to create beautiful, authentic, and unique images is something I truly enjoy!

Whether I'm taking photos of a family, a high school senior, or a preschooler, my goal is the same: To create stunning photographs that my clients will love to hang on their walls and share with their family and friends.

I know having your photo taken can be nerve-wracking. I get it! That’s why I’m there to walk you through a series of poses and with the help of a prompt or a joke or two, get you laughing and playing and giggling and tickling each other.

Those moments of connection, silliness, excitement and surprise -- those are magic.
